We were delighted to host a reception honouring H.E. Mr. John Breslow, Ambassador of the US to the Republic Of Cyprus, and Mrs. Sonia Breslow. The event brought together members of the business community, diplomats and distinguished guests to celebrate the strong and growing relationship between CY & U.S.
The evening provided an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of the CY-U.S. partnership and to welcome Amb. Breslow as he begins his mission. The reception reflected the close economic, commercial and people-to-people ties that continue to strengthen relations between our two countries.
During his remarks, AmCham Cyprus President Marios Kapiris highlighted the significant opportunities for further cooperation between CY & U.S. across trade, investment, innovation, technology, education and economic development. He underscored the important role of the business community in deepening bilateral engagement and reaffirmed AmCham Cyprus’ commitment to supporting stronger commercial ties and greater investment flows between the two countries.
Amb. John Breslow shared his enthusiasm about his new assignment in CY & spoke about the importance of continuing to enhance the longstanding friendship between the U.S. & CY. His remarks reflected a shared commitment to collaboration, partnership and fostering mutually beneficial connections between the two business communities, while highlighting the many opportunities that lie ahead for expanding cooperation between our nations. As he stated, our relationship is growing safer, stronger and more prosperous.
The evening served as a powerful reminder of the growing strategic importance of the CY – U.S. relationship and the significant opportunities that exist to deepen cooperation across commerce, investment, innovation, technology, energy, education, entrepreneurship and law enforcement. The remarks delivered throughout the event reflected a shared commitment to strengthening the bonds between our two nations and advancing a partnership built on trust, opportunity and shared values.
